SISTEM INFORMASI ABSENSI SISWA BERBASIS WEB DAN SMS GATEWAY (Studi kasus: Madrasah Aliyah Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Timur)

Abstract

MA AL-Wathoniyah 5 is a high school based on the Islamic religion. This school was founded by K.H Ahmad Masnih Bin H. Abdulah Rahman which was built in 1987. The attendance system at MA AL-Wathoniyah 5 still uses the conventional attendance system, which is still using the attendance book in terms of recording student attendance. And Difficulties in processing student attendance data due to absenteeism books that are often damaged and lost, and parents of students or guardians of students difficult to monitor their children because of the lack of maximum delivery of information based on it requires the existence of an information system that can provide accurate data and disclose information to Parents of students, In addition, parents can find out quickly the development of attendance or the level of attendance of their children without having to come to school, so as to save time and costs As for the features of this system can make it easier to make attendance online via the web and SMS Gateway provides information the presence of their children at school using the SMS Gateway. Therefore a Student Attendance Information System was created at Madrasah Aliyah AL-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta Web Based and SMS Gateway. This system aims to improve student discipline in school in terms of attendance or so-called absenteeism.
