Abstract

As the world becomes more globalised and technologically advanced, society is increasingly drawn to using technology to handle its everyday tasks. Modern technology can compensate for both energy and time. The expression "information at our fingertips" accurately describes this era. Halal issues and challenges will be examined in this study, along with their significance. This research will look at halal difficulties and challenges, as well as their importance. Malaysia's Halal food business has grown significantly, driven by both domestic demand and global interest in Halal goods. This expansion, however, is accompanied by a number of obstacles and concerns that must be carefully considered in order to ensure long-term success. This article examined and analysed the major difficulties confronting the Halal food business, providing insights into their consequences and potential solutions. The study used a combination of literature reviews and industry insights to present a complete overview of the Halal food business's numerous difficulties. It emphasised the significance of collaboration among stakeholders, such as government organisations, industry participants, and certification authorities, to overcome these difficulties and ensure sustainable growth. By recognising and resolving significant concerns, stakeholders may help to increase the industry's competitiveness, ensure compliance with Halal standards, and satisfy the changing expectations of customers both locally and internationally. Finally, this report is an invaluable resource for industry actors, policymakers, and researchers looking to improve the resilience and sustainability of Malaysia's Halal food business.
