Abstract
Lack of insight into the immunosuppressive microenvironment of glioblastoma (GBM) hinders successful application of immunotherapy. In this issue, Alanio and colleagues identify a distinct T-cell localization profile between recurrent and de novo GBM highlighting the importance of spatial heterogeneity and providing new avenues to explore to improve GBM outcome.
