Maintenance of posture by hypnotic suggestion in patient undergoing plastic surgery

Abstract

A case is described in which the fixation of the left hand in apposition to the right foot, for the purpose of transferring tissue, was achieved by hypnotic suggestion. The technique is described in detail, and the advantages of the method and the possibilities of its wider application are discussed.
