Information literacy and remote external students: Exploring the possibilities offered by new communications technologies

Abstract

This paper presents the conclusions of a study into new possibilities for the provision of information literacy education to remote external students through the use of newcommunication technologies. The study was conducted at Edith Cowan University during thefirst half of 1993.
