S : Water is a primary need both in the household and industrial world. In every industry almost entirely requires water. One of the level control systems in the industry is to use a manual system. The disadvantage of the manual system is that it takes a long time to reach the desired water level and is prone to human errors in reading from the water level. To fix this problem, there is an alternative, namely using an automatic level control system using sensors to read the water level in the tank which is more precise in reading. The aim of this research is to analyze the level control of a tank using PID control. With the parameters Kp, ti and td will be calculated using the Ziegler Nichols method. In this study, the Matlab R2016a software was used to simulate the Kp, ti and td parameters of the PID controller. The results showed that the response of water level control using the PID controller was able to reach the desired setpoint with a rise time of 1,83 seconds, a maximum overshoot of 33,6% achieved at 4,6 seconds and a settling time of 13,7 seconds.
