Abstract

Abstract. Students are required to adapt in their careers to compete in the world of work in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the relationship between Job Search Self-Efficacy and Career  Adaptability. The subjects involved in this study were 32 Senior-year undergraduate students. This study uses  quantitative methods with correlation analysis techniques and uses the Job Search Self-Efficacy (Wagner  et.al, 2010) and Career Adaptability (Savickas, 2012) scales that have been adapted. The reliability value of  the CA Cronbach's Alpha scale (0.860) and the JSSE Cronbach's Alpha (0.846). The validity obtained from  the CA scale is (0.339 – 0.690) and JSSE with validity (0.355 – 0.675). The results of the tests that have been  carried out have a positive relationship between Job Search Self-Efficacy and Career Adaptability. The results  of the normality test in this study had a significance value of p>0.05 (0.941) and linearity in this study had a  significance value of p>0.05 (0.114). This means that the higher the confidence in finding work, the higher  the career adaptability of students, even with the conditions and situations of the Covid-19 pandemic. Abstrak. Mahasiswa dituntut untuk beradaptasi dalam karir guna bersaing di dunia kerja dengan era pandemi Covid19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan Job Search Self-Efficacy dengan Career Adaptability.  Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 32 orang mahasiswa S1 tingkat akhir. Penelitian ini  menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis korelasi serta menggunakan skala Job Search Self Efficacy (Wagner et.al,2010) dan Career Adaptability (Savickas,2012) yang sudah di adaptasi. Nilai  Reliabilitas skala CA Cronbach’s Alpha (0,860) serta JSSE Cronbach’s Alpha (0,846). Validitas yag  diperoleh dari skala CA adalah (0,339 – 0,690) serta JSSE dengan validitas (0.355 – 0,675). Hasil uji yang  sudah dilakukan terdapat hubungan positif antara Job Search Self-Efficacy dengan Career Adaptability. Hasil  uji Normalitas pada penelitian ini memiliki nilai Signifikansi p>0,05 (0,941) dan Linearitas pada penelitian  ini memiliki Signifikansi p>0,05 (0,114). Artinya, semakin tinggi kepercayaan diri dalam mencari kerja maka  adaptabilitas karir yang dimiliki mahasiswa juga tinggi walaupun dengan kondisi dan situasi pandemi  Covid19.
