Abstract

This paper does not attempt to be a comprehensive review, but it draws together some of the major information regarding the bursa of Fabricius and a viral disease of the bursa first described in Delaware, USA, which is now of worldwide economic importance to poultry and hence to those who seek to include poultry meat in their diet.
