Abstract

Background: COVID-19 is an infectious disease that hit the world community at the end of 2019. The risk of death from COVID-19 is highly dependent on age and previous health conditions. COVID-19 severe and critical symptoms are more commonly found in older patients and patients who have chronic comor-bidities such as cardiovascular disease, hyper-tension, diabetes, including COPD. This study aims to determine the relationship between COPD and mortality of COVID-19 patients in hospitals. Subjects and Method: This a meta-analysis study using the PRISMA flowchart guidelines.
