Abstract

Unions, economic globalization and environmental crisis This paper analyzes the impact of globalization on union’s activity. Globalization is considered both in terms of conventional economic aspects and in therms of environmental crisis. The analysis shows that both process affect dramatically and negativelly the logic of union policies, specially in their dependence of economic growth and public policies. At the end is explored the possibility to develop substantial innovative practices in order to avoid the present union decline.
