Abstract

From September 2006 to February 2007, we have treated seven unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma patients with stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) . Because hepatocellular carcinomas could not be controlled by ablation or transarterial chemoembolization. SBRT was performed safely in all patients. Although follow-up times were only 12 months, both local tumor progression and any adversed effect were not observed on follow-up CT in all patients.
