A sociologia da educação em Portugal : Perspetivas de futuro

Abstract

Perspetivar o futuro da sociologia da educação requer que se examine o passado e o presente deste campo científico. Com base nesse pressuposto, neste artigo apresentam-se resultados de uma análise de conteúdo de dez entrevistas a sociólogos da educação de diferentes gerações e filiações institucionais. Essa análise é complementada com estudos sobre a evolução da sociologia da educação realizados por autores portugueses, permitindo explorar as três dimensões constitutivas do campo científico : o ensino, a investigação e a intervenção socioeducativa.Prospecting the future of the sociology of education requires examining the past and present of this scientific field. Based on this assumption, this article presents the results of a content analysis of ten interviews with sociologists of education of different generations and institutional affiliations. This analysis is complemented by studies on the evolution of the sociology of education carried out by Portuguese authors, allowing the exploration of the three constitutive dimensions of the scientific field : teaching, research and socio-educational intervention.
