Abstract

A three-dimensional (3D) Weyl metal is a topological metal with pairs of singular points in momentum space called Weyl nodes. These points are topologically nontrivial objects and monopole sources of Berry curvature and are charac- terized by a unit chiral (topological) charge. Here, we briefly introduce the characteristic features of a 3D Weyl metal and review the current status of research on anomalous trans- port phenomena originating from its nontrivial topological structure.
