Abstract
Synthesis and antibacterial activity of some novel urea and thiourea derivs. of anacardic acid prepd. from com. available anacardic acid which is obtained from natural cashew nut shell liq. (CNSL). The newly prepd. compds. were tested for activity against Gram pos. and Gram neg. bacteria. Most of the compds. were active compared with the std. drug ampicillin. [on SciFinder(R)]
