Abstract

This mini-track presents two papers in HICCS-53. We introduce them briefly below. Wang, Xiong and Olya [9] study the social responsibility of AI practices. More specifically, they study how AI can be designed to operate responsibly and act in a manner meeting stakeholders' expectations and applicable regulations. By investigating 10 responsible AI cases from different industries, they identify four responsible AI practices, including governance, ethically design solutions, risk control and training and education. Five strategies are recommended for firms to consider in their adopting of responsible AI practices. Kwon, Bae and Shin [10] investigate the user adoption behavior of AI. To better fit the context of AI, they extend the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and employ the social desirability and self-consistency of moral psychology as the underlying attitudes toward AI. They also add the moral norm to TRA as a moderator between the attitudes and behavioral intention. The empirical results of their model indicate that the moral psychology plays an important role in explaining user attitudes toward AI and subsequent intentions of adopting an AI system.
