Abstract
Reactivity can be rationally manipulated in DNA-templated synthesis by altering the design of template architectures: a) The omega (Ω) architecture enables DNA-templated reactions to be encoded by bases distal from the reactive end of the template, regardless of the distance dependence of the reaction. b) The T architecture enables two DNA-templated reactions to take place on a single template in one solution, as illustrated.
