Abstract

Following a brief description of the types of femoroacetabular impingement, the present article describes the protocol of conventional radiology, computed tomography e magnetic resonance imaging for cases of impingement, developed over the last eight years in a partnership with reference orthopedic institutions. Basic radiological propedeutics is described for each of the methods, reviewing the most relevant findings in the assessment of the hip. © Colégio Brasileiro de Radiologia e Diagnóstico por Imagem.
