Abstract

Today Marks and Spencer is the largest UK retailer by turnover and profit. It sells clothing, household goods and food under the St Michael brand in thirty countries through six hundred stores worldwide. The purpose of this works is to relate the rise of Marks and Spencer and to look at the reasons for its success. Furthermore, the future of clothing business and its impact on Marks and Spencer is also emphasized.
