Abstract
"The Qur'an, from various perspectives, provides guidance and wisdom to its readers. This understanding, however, is not readily attainable. In-depth research of the Qur'an is essential for a comprehensive and profound interpretation. One aspect of the Qur'an is the presence of narratives that convey specific meanings or lessons. These narratives often have parallels in the Bible. By juxtaposing the Qur'anic and Biblical accounts, we can achieve a more comprehensive understanding. One such narrative found in the Qur'an is the story of Prophet Noah. A comprehensive analysis of this story, especially when compared with other sources, can yield rich insights. A useful theoretical framework for such an analysis is the 'narrative structuralism' proposed by A.J. Greimas, a prominent linguist. This approach allows for a detailed, chronological examination of the narrative, enhancing the accuracy of interpretation. Moreover, Greimas' theory enables us to uncover both the surface-level and underlying structures of the text. This research will explore the narrative of Prophet Noah as presented in both the Qur'an and the Bible, utilizing the lens of Greimasian narrative structuralism. Keywords: Prophet Noah, Qur'an, Bible, Narrative Structuralism"
