Abstract

The death is a part of the life. She can announce and be waited in the situations of serious illnesses or consequences(suites) of accidents ; she can be imperative(lead) violement and to arise without that she was able to be anticipated during accidents, during disaster or during traumatic events. If speak about the death to saddened adults is a difficult test, to accompany a child in front of the death is a particularly testing event. What words, which attitudes to have with a child in front of the death ? How to accompany a child confronted with the death ? What are the reactions of the child in front of the death ? We propose a reflection stemming from our experience with saddened children and with dying children. © L'Esprit du Temps.
