Abstract
A review with 6 refs. on improvements to solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) components at the ECN (Energy Research Foundation of the Netherlands). Electrode microstructure as a function of manufg. technique, Ni-ZrO2 anode cermet characteristics, cathode powder processing and formation of interface with electrolyte, and co-firing the electrodes on the sintered electrolyte are discussed.
