Problematika Terjemah Teks Bahasa Arab Di Prodi PBA IAI Miftahul Ulum Pamekasan

Abstract

Translation activities are often carried out by students in Arabic education study programs, students translate Arabic texts or books related to the material they are studying, to make it easier to understand the material. However, the translation process does not always run smoothly. There are some difficulties and problems they face when translating. This research was conducted to identify the difficulties faced by students when translating. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research subjects here are fourth and sixth grade students who are taking translation courses. The author uses a questionnaire to collect data and analyze it using descriptive analysis. The result of this study is that the problem of translating Arabic text in the Arabic language education study program at the Islamic Institute of  Miftahul Ulum Penyepen is influenced by two aspects, are: linguistic and non-linguistic aspects.
