Abstract

The versatility of polymer blends explains why the market for these materials in West Europe and the world is still growing, especially for blends containing polycarbonate, polyamide, polyester or modified polyphenyl ether. Applications of engineering blends in West Europe are presented with automotive application ranking first, followed by telecommunication industry, electrical/electronics, packaging, and finally the construction industry.
