Abstract
1. 1. Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia is a definite clinical entity with characteristic roentgenograms. 2. 2. Differentiation from hyperparathyroidism is essential in view of more favorable prognosis and nonsurgical management. 3. 3. Additional evidence indicating origin from fibrous tissue dysplasia is presented. 4. 4. Reconstructive surgery on involved bones does not appear to be warranted. © 1942.
