The aim of current study was to determine silage quality traits of Tedera Bituminaria bituminosa (L.) C.H. Stirt.). “T” and oat “O” (Avena sativa L.) mixtures (100:0, 90:10, 80:20, 70:60, 60:40, 50:50, 40:60, 30:70, 20:80, 10:90 and 0:100%). The harvested plants were chopped in size of 2 cm, and they filled into vacuum bags according to the mixture ratios, and then they were stored at 25±2 oC for 45 days. In this study; physical observations (colour, structure, odour) with dry matter, crude protein, crude ash, ADF, NDF, lactic acid, acetic acid, butyric acid, potassium (K), phosphor (P), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), iron (Fe), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), copper (Cu), and sodium (Na) ratios were determined. The highest crude protein content was determined in sole tedera with 16.13 % and 10O+90T % mixture was same statistical group with sole tedera (15.13 %). ADF ve NDF ratio ranged between 27.85-39.22 % and 39.10- 62.61 %, respectively. The highest lactic acid was determined in 20O+80T % (% 7.074), 100T % (% 6.653) and 10O+90T % (% 6.606), while the lowest in 90O+10T % (% 1.975). The acetic acid of the silages ranged between 0.024-0.084 %, and the butyric acid content was not observed. 100T % and 10O+90T % treatments were more than value other mixtures in term of nutrients. As a result, it was determined that the silage quality of the mixture of oat and tedera 10:90 was better than other mixtures in terms of the physical criteria and quality traits.
