Uczestnictwo osób niepełnosprawnych w kulturze

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane aspekty problemu związanego z udziałem osób niepełnosprawnych w kulturze. Uwaga skupiona jest na pojęciu, przejawach i rodzajach uczestnictwa, a także na różnych wymiarach udziału osób niepełnosprawnych w kulturze. Ujawniono wartość kultury i jej znaczenie w życiu osób niepełnosprawnych. Wskazano przykłady inicjatyw kulturalnych, w których uczestniczą osoby niepełnosprawne. Przedstawiono również perspektywy udziału kobiet niepełnosprawnych w kulturze (na podstawie ich postrzegania problemu), a także problemy barier blokujących osobom niepełnosprawnym dostęp do kultury i instytucji kulturalnych.  In the paper there are presented chosen aspects of the problem related to the disabled people’s participation in culture. An attention is focused at the notion, expressions and kinds of participation, as well as at the different dimensions of the disabled people’s participation in the culture. There is exposed a value of culture and it’s meaning in the disabled people’s life. There are indicated examples of the cultural initiatives in which disabled people participate. There are also presented the perspectives of disabled women’s participation in culture (basing at their perception of the problem), as well as the problems of the barriers blocking disabled people’s access to the culture and cultural institutions.
