Abstract
In the current context of continued growth in energy prices worldwide and concern to support global efforts to improve the climate, insulation the exterior walls of the building is a well-known strategy to increase the energy efficiency of buildings. This paper presents the results of a study on increasing energy efficiency in collective residential buildings, as well as an analysis of movement of freezing point in the structure of external wall, when applying a further insulation on the outer surface of the wall.
