Abstract

To product steadily high-quality plants in a plant factory, proper PPFD should be supplied according to the sort of plants. In order to produce the plant, the artificial lighting system should be installed in the greenhouse. This system is controlled itself according to the quantity of sunrays (dynamic changes of sunray). This phenomenon cause to supply the required quantity of rays without any interpretation process and also the PPFD of the artificial-rays equal to the PPFD of sunrays. This paper suggests context-aware architecture to improve energy efficiency by controlling artificial-rays. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
