Abstract
This study focuses on the implementation of the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in the context of the Indonesian Gate of Goodness Foundation (YGKI), a humanitarian organization committed to health, humanitarian and social issues. Officers face difficulties in processing information, so a decision support system is needed that can assist in determining recipients of training at the Foundation. Decision Support Systems using the SAW method play an important role in providing relevant information and supporting more informed and effective decision making. By using the expertise of this decision support system, the foundation can get help in providing priority advice to prospective patients who need assistance. This can simplify the process of determining the feasibility of which proposals should receive assistance from the foundation and which ones should not. In the context of implementing this system, it can be concluded that alternative selection is based on similarity to positive solutions and as far as possible from negative solutions. The advantages of this decision support system will help the foundation in providing priority advice to prospective patients who need assistance, so that the process of determining the suitability of assistance for patients is more efficient and accurate.
