La métaphore terminologique sous un angle cognitif

Abstract

This article deals with the terminological metaphor in the light of the most recent cognitive research which highlights its nature and functioning. More proactively, can the study of the terminological metaphor in such a background serve as a paradigmatic tool to direct and construct thought? From this angle one may find that the terminological metaphor is not only a question of language but it also concerns conceptual structuring. In order to explain this type of metaphor the field of cardiology will be explored.
