Abstract

In March 2015, NICE launched the guideline NG5: Medicines Optimisation , 1 which identifies areas for NHS bodies to help patients get the best from their medicines. This article explores the features of the guidance dealing with medicines‐related communication systems when patients move from one care setting to another.
