Abstract

Agriculture is one of the fields of activity where the movement of relations between what Bakhtine calls « constituted ideologies » and « daily ideologies » is daily most active. He is also among those who think that, for this reason, these ideologies are the most submitted to important movements - as reality shows it. Bakh-tine underlines the importance of « mutual influences » between these ideologies, conceived as movements and not as more or less static forms. He shows especially the effect on the knowledge of things and the fight among social groups for the meaning of words. He offers conceptual means for an analysis of the relations between the forms of knowledge of practitioners - in this case breeders - and the scientific knowledge. The reject of « abstract objectivism » that these approaches imply may lead to a certain relativism, which does not exist according to Bakhtine, but which needs some further explanations. © Martin Media.
