Türkiye’de Tersine Lojistiğin Rolü

Abstract

Logistics is one of the basic concepts that creates value for businesses. However, today, the concept of reverse logistics attracts more attention. Reverse logistics activities ensure sustainability and savings of resources. Reverse logistics; it covers all kinds of products, services or information flows from the last point where raw materials, semi-finished or used products are consumed to the starting point where it is produced. Additionally, reverse lojistics, it includes the disposal of used or end of life products from nonrecyclable wastes as well as reuse as resoruces. At the same time, all kinds of positive and negative opinions about the products purchased by customers are also included in reverse logistics notion. Today, with the increasing importance given to the environment, the concept of reverse logistics has also increased. This study does not set out only best practices in logistics activities in Turkey but also emphasizes the strategic importance of the environmental and economic impact of reverse logistics. As a result, the reverse logistics activities in all sectors in Turkey, continues to contribute to the development of the state by raising the awareness of individuals of all ages. Environmentally friendly products, environmentally conscious individuals ensure sustainability and savings of resources. The consciousness of recycling, regardless of state, business, individual, should be our biggest social responsibility. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
