Abstract

This volume presents the selected papers of young computational scientists - participants of YSC-2016. Traditionally annual Young Scientist Conferences (YSC) in high performance computing, modeling and simulation are held since 2012 by the University of Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and ITMO University (St. Petersburg, Russia) as the open international events which aim to develop a dialogue about the present and future of computational science with a focus on applications of modeling and simulation solving a wide range of problems of science, industry, and business.
