Abstract

Look again: The X-ray single crystals structure determination of polyethylene glycol chains reported at the beginning of 2009 was not the first X-ray structure. The fact that old fiber and freeze-dried structure reports from the 1960s were overlooked points out weak spots in searches of chemical and crystallographic databases. © 2009 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH &, Co.
