A quem interessa a antecipação do ensino fundamental?

Abstract

This is a study about the nine-year elementary school in the state of São Paulo, especially the entry of children with 5 and 6 years old in the first-year schooling. It was analyzed the implementation proposal of four municipal government in São Paulo, of the state government and of the College of Education’s Application School, at University of São Paulo. It is a qualitative, document and bibliographic research. Visits were made weekly to schools, as well as interviews with children, parents, teachers, school administrators, school boards and unions. The results were analyzed considering the right to education, democratic management and quality of education.
