Abstract

In this paper we propose a discussion about the question of the subject in ergonomics. This debate is of great importance, since in its evolution; the theme of subjectivity little was treated. The main question treated by this field is related to physical, cognitive and organizational issues. Today workers' health as well as the economic performance of organizations, compel to think the activity in terms of commitment of subjectivity, and thus, to (re) think the «subject» of the working activities and therefore to address a theory of the subject that can support this perspective. The want of the conceptual apparatus up to this challenge leads us to adopt as a reference the theoretical apparatus of psychodynamics of work (PDT) to address this issue, and to relaunch the debate, already old between these two disciplines.
