Abstract

Abstract: In the realm of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), the integration of webcams and various sensors has made gesture recognition increasingly accessible and impactful. Hand gestures provide a natural and intuitive mode of communication, enabling seamless interaction between humans and computers. This paper highlights the potential of hand gestures as an effective medium for non-verbal communication and control, with applications spanning across multiple domains. The proposed system leverages image processing techniques, sensor technologies, and computer vision to enable gesture-based computer control. Emphasis is placed on the interdisciplinary nature of the research, including its applications in fields such as machine learning, healthcare, and mobile technology.
