Abstract
Face detection is a computer application being used in a different fields to identify the human image. Detection of the human face is performed by extracting the features existing in the face. Local Binary Pattern (LBP) is used to identify the texture feature of the detected face which varies from person to person. The face area is first divided into small regions from which LBP histograms are extracted and concatenated into a single, spatially enhanced feature histogram efficiently representing the face image.
