Abstract

This part introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the subsequent chapters. The part sheds light on the nature of the support needed for digital health so that it is both benevolent and effective for the citizen. Artificial intelligence is becoming an essential evolution in the processing of digital information. The differences of opinion illustrate the difficulties that digital professionals and society as a whole will have to face. Therefore, it is necessary to bring meaning to data, algorithms, and their uses in order to create real added value to digital medicine. The part looks at the launch of digital technology in Europe immediately leads to the conclusion that the speed of development is not the same as in the Americas. It provides an explanatory overview of the legal framework for applications in France.
