Abstract

Hydroxyapatite is one of bioceramics having potential usefulness as biomaterials such as bones and teeth (dental root) artificially fabricated. It possesses a good biocompatibility and a nontoxicity. Here we report a new preparation of hydroxyapatite using the freeze-drying method so as to attain fine powders.
