Risk management and financing among Start-ups

Abstract

The implications of the liberalization of the electricity sector and its privatization on the financing of power projects are discussed. As always in the lending business, the main concern is how to assess the risks of such financings in the light of the new general situation and what risk management instruments are suited to handle these risks. Requirements to be met by risk management in financing power projects are also discussed.
