Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to create a digital open educational resource or MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) that supports the tutoring process in the data structure course taught at the public institution Technological Units of Santander (Colombia). The approach is qualitative-descriptive and has an instructional design based on the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate) model. According to the training needs, the general structure of the resource, the training route, and the didactic sequences of each module are established. The learning activities, contents, and assessment activities are implemented in the institution’s LMS (Learning Management System). The assessment is conducted in two phases: 1) summative, which is an integral part of MOOC, and 2) peer evaluation of contents and structure. In conclusion, the open educational resource developed here has allowed managing the tutoring process by conducting virtual counseling without the need for physical spaces and with flexible schedules.
