Abstract

The "canonical behavior" of the early X-ray afterglows of long-duration gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) - observed by the X-Ray Telescope of the Swift satellite - is precisely that predicted by the cannonball model of GRBs. © 2006. The American Astronomical Society. All rights reserved.
