Abstract

The author takes support on her clinical practice orientated by psychoanalysis and anthropology to show that what reanimates itself across all forms of displacements, of whom immigration, is nothing else than original exile. This exile there is talk about sends back each one or each communauty to the strangeness in the heart of its identity. This experience of strangeness which come to change what links someone in a collective way to his representations and identfiing modes, requires to operate symbolisation.
