Abstract
Objective: Assess the Functional Capacity, Quality of Life and the correlation between these variables in women with breast cancer, who fnished cancer treatment, there is at most one year. Methods: A descriptive, exploratory, transversal and quantitative research the use of questionnaires: form with personal data; Katz Index and Index Lawton Functional Capacity; EORTC QLQ-C30 and QLQ-BR23 EORCT for Quality of Life. Results: As for functionality, this treatment impaired the performance of the Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, which compromises everyday activities of these women. There was also involvement in physical and psychosocial functions, leisure activities and social participation, and these correlated with worsening of quality of life. Conclusion: It was found that women with breast cancer experience changes in functional capacity, which hinders the performance of their daily activities and social participation, leading to an impairment in quality of life.
