A epistemologia da complexidade e a ciência da informação

Abstract

A ciência, ao longo do século XX, passou por um amplo debate sobre os seus princípios básicos de construção. O racionalismo, o determinismo e o mecanicismo foram superados pela incerteza proposta pela própria ciência, dando origem a possíveis rupturas epistemológicas e a busca por "novos" paradigmas. Este trabalho propõe-se a apresentar o pensamento complexo moriniano, utilizando-se como justificativa o pressuposto de "instinto formativo" bachelardiano para tentar aproximar a ciência da informação da chamada "ciência nova".Throughout the 20th century, science went through a wide debate about its basic construction principles. Rationalism, determinism and mechanicism were left aside owing to the uncertainty aroused by science itself. This was the reason for possible epistemological ruptures and the search for "new" paradigms. This paper intends to present the complex Morinean thought, utilizing as a justification the presuposition of Bachelardean "formative instinct" in order to make an attempt to have a closer relation between information science and the so called "new science".
