Abstract

The double crisis of the World Trade Organization demonstrates its inability to fulfill the functions she has to achieve by virtue of its constitutive statute. The institutional blockage of its functioning is affecting its first mission: The efficient administration of the international commercial agreements concluded by its member States. The World Trade Organization has also failed to serve as forum for the multilateral commercial negotiations between its members. The crisis origins are complex and the possible ways to go through it are not sufficient to put an end to its impasse.
