Abstract

This article examines the operation of Aliança Nacional Libertadora (National Alliance for Freedom), a large organization formed in 1935 by representative sectors of the Brazilian society at the time. Its movements were directed against the advance of Integralism in Brazil and Fascism in the global scenario, and against imperialist domination and latifundium in Brazil.
