Abstract
The purpose of this article is to apply the categories and indicators for the analysis of territorial convergences from the municipal level. Once the indicators have been characterized, we proceed to the analysis of each one of them and finally to the process of integration of said indicators through a multifactorial analysis. This procedure makes it possible to establish a reading of the convergences at a general level in the study area, as well as to account for the levels of territorial cohesion based on these convergences at both the municipal and provincial levels. For this research exercise, the categories and indicators are recognized at the municipal level, whose interrelation generates diagnoses of Municipal Territorial Convergence (CTM), which translate into levels of feasibility for Territorial Cohesion. The results made it possible to verify the need to transcend the dimensional structure in the approach to territorial systems, validating the multidimensionality of the indicators as a reflection of the condition of complexity of the territorial, hence the recurrence to interscalar readings to account for the problem.
